PATROLMAN
Open Date: February 2, 2010
Probationary Salary: $26,001/$12.50 hour
Job Summary: Performs police patrol, investigation, traffic regulation and related law enforcement activities.
Position Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of employment. Must possess or be able to obtain by date of hire, a valid Texas driver's license without record of suspension or revocation in any state. Felony convictions and disqualifying criminal histories within the past 7 years are not allowed. Must be able to read and write the English language. Must be of good moral character and of temperate and industrious habits and must have the ability to meet the department's physical standards. Must be TCLOSE certified or be able to obtain by date of hire.

UTILITY PLANT FOREMAN - WASTEWATER PLANT
Open Date: February 5, 2010
Probationary Salary: $28,029/$13.48 hour
After 6 months: $29,908/$14.38 hour - $38,807/$18.66 hour
Job Summary: Performs a variety of skilled, technical, supervisory and administrative work in the planning, construction, operation, repair, maintenance and replacement of municipal wastewater treatment systems. Exercises close supervision over assigned treatment plant operators.
Position Requirements: Valid Texas Driver's License, "C" Certification as a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator; must be able to obtain "B" Certification as a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator within 6 months of hire.
