Planning and Permits

The City Planning Division provides planning, community development and building inspection services. Planning responsibilities include: processing zoning changes, specific use permit requests, and abandonment requests; processing Board of Adjustment variance requests and reviewing and processing subdivision plats; providing information concerning subdivision regulations, zoning changes, census data, population changes, and land use changes.


Permits are required for the following:

New Construction Re-decking a roof/re-roofing
Remodeling Carport construction
Adding or Removing a wall

Storage Building

Building Permits can be applied for at 1119 Alamo Street 
or call 886-1101 for information.

Permit Fees

Code Enforcement is required for the following:

Tall Grass Junk Vehicle
Rubbish Trash Pick-Up
Sewer Community Service Work
